I love this spooky Louisiana plantation painting by Amzie Adams! Mardi gras time!

Van Gogh's "Cypresses," my favorite painting from his stay at loony bin. "Madness is genius," right?

I love Renoir's use of color, especially in "Umbrellas." So lush!

I love this bold floral painting by Alexandre Renoir, great-grandson of the incomparable Pierre-Auguste!

Marina Petro's daily art blog is chockfull of gorgeous abstract colors. Love it!

Albert Bierstadt's paintings of the Yosemite valley are so gorgeous they hurt my eyes. Gorgeous!

Dale Terbush's art is some Pandora magic looking business. Those colors, oof!

Asher Durand's "The Beeches" is a painting I can stare at for hours, I love that highlighting!

What kind of women's studies art lover would I be if I left out Georgia O'Keefe?

I'm not a huge pointillism fan, but you can't argue that George Seurat was a master.

I love this unusual woodblock by Hokusai. I tried woodblocking once. I stained my hands red for two weeks.
