The New York Times coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England. The athletes are hard at work! The Olympics will be under way with the opening ceremony the night of July 27th.

25 June 2012: Swimmer/breaststroke, Brendan Hansen competed in a preliminary today, posting the 2nd fastest time in the preliminaries of 1:30 minutes. The 61st best time of the morning was a 1:03.90 posted by a 40-year-old, Steve West.
