Amy Winehouse was truly a powerhouse. Tragic...

Eric Clapton

I was such a fool for early 2000s college rock jam bands like O.A.R. "Crazy Game of Poker" is still a really good song, though.

Amos Lee is great.

There's such a "thing" about admiting liking the Dave Matthews Band, but whatever, they're pretty good. Also I liked his solo album! Mostly, I think he's goofy and I like his face.

The 90's and my iTunes would not be complete without Michael Stipe and R.E.M.

Speaking of the 90's, and yuppie rock...come on! How can you not love the Barenaked Ladies?!

I have an unabashed love for the Crash Test Dummies. So I'm super into weird 90's yuppie rock? So what?

Creedence Clearwater Revival. Good thing musical talent isn't directly related to one's ability to choose a haircut.

Jack White's new solo ventures are kind of all SUPER UNBELIEVABLE.

The Animals. They LOOKED like One Direction and sounded like they'd been playing gritty blues for 50 years. Ahhhmazing.

The infinite cool. Tom Waits.

The Alabama Shakes are SO GOOD. I'm obsessed. Frontwoman Brittany Howard is THE FIERCEST. Her voice is so bomb. I love them.

Led Zeppelin.

KIMBRA. My new obsession. She's the fiercest and her voice is amazing and she's younger than me. It's not okay.

The Dixie Chicks. YEAH I had my country phase. They're just so good.

Peter Gabriel is the best.

If you don't love the Beatles, you're not American. Which is ironic, because they're British.

Stevie Nicks. Ooh that voice.

Not gonna lie, Matchbox Twenty was totally my jam in the early 2000s. This album cover is imprinted in my brain foreva.

MIKA is SO FIERCE AND FUN.

Regina Spektor, musical whimsy!

Mark Knopfler looks like such a nice man. Also he's an amazing musician. Dire Straits, a fantastic album with Emmylou Harris, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, he did the soundtrack to "The Princess Bride." I know.

Peter, Paul, and Mary! Ohhh memories of family car trips....

RAFFI. Childhood music reminiscing: COMMENCE. Also, I always thought James Mercer of The Shins (also in this collection) would grow up to look like Raffi.

James Mercer of The Shins, the soundtrack of my high school years. You can blame "Garden State" for that one. But their new song, "Simple Song," is also great.

Sam Beam AKA Iron & Wine AKA Bearded Lullaby Wonder

Dean Friedman. He had one popular song, called "Ariel," and it's one of the best and most hilarious songs every written and look at this album cover. So 70's, I love it.

The Allman Brothers Band. I may or may not be listening to them right now (I am). "Soul Shine" baby!

"Queen - Absolute Greatest." Yeah, that sounds about right

Zachary Francis Condon AKA Beirut, When I studied abroad, the album "The Flying Cub Cup" was my soundtrack.

Dar Williams! Folky goodness
