About LoveIt

LoveIt is a visual platform with powerful and collaborative tools for individuals and groups to discover, collect, organize and share the things they love via public or private collections. From chic fashion to quirky art, tasty recipes to dream vacations, and geeky gadgets to hot cars, LoveIt is a place where you can easily share images of everything that interests you, find people who have similar tastes, discover new things you may not have found otherwise, and turn those interests into actual experiences.

Do you love the chocolate bacon cupcakes from your local bakery (Seriously. Who doesn’t love bacon?!)? Create a collection and share it with your LoveIt followers, start a conversation about the image, and encourage the community to get out and try it for themselves!

Whether you’re an artist or designer, a parent or teen, a party planner or just a visual person, everyone can use LoveIt!

Why We’re Different

Yes, we have a familiar layout, which is intentional because we’ve learned it’s an easy format for people to use. What makes us different is:

Discovery: We’ll help you find your friends and family as well as discover influencers, brands, websites, feeds and blogs that love the things you love. When you find an image you love, you’ll also be able to directly follow the original content source. Our patent-pending image recommendation engine will constantly be working to identify and share new compelling images with you too.

Organization: You can set up private collections, public collections and favorites to easily find your top images. You’ll also be able to easily rearrange the order of your collections and organize your images by dragging them from one collection to another.

Collaboration: You can interact with other people in the LoveIt community to create collections of people you admire, to get artistic inspiration, to plan events, share infographics and anything else you can come up with. The private collection feature takes collaborating on special events or professional projects to a whole new level!

Community: We’re all about community too! We’ll be chatting, listening and responding to our friends and followers on LoveIt as well as through top social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, Google +, and YouTube.

In fact, we’ve got some great video tips available on our YouTube channel and on our Help page – check them out!

This is just the start for LoveIt! Our product roadmap is full of exciting new features and we can’t wait to have you test them as we roll them out. We hope you'll LoveIt soon and look forward to hearing your feedback!

We Listen to You!

From the moment we launched, we said we’d be actively listening to and engaging with our community. We’ve asked you what kind of tools and features you’d like to see us create to make your LoveIt experience fun, easy and everything you want it to be.

Your voice has been heard! We’ve built a variety of new features by popular demand and you can check them out in the video here or read about them below.

Content Importer – You can use the Content Importer tool to import your entire boards or multiple images from your Pinterest account to share on LoveIt. While initially built to allow you to import your content from Pinterest, additional sites will be added based on your requests. So let us know what you’d like!

Multiplicity – Quickly "love" several of your images in one simple step from anywhere you keep them, like Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr and your blog. These images can be added to one collection or various collections with similar or unique descriptions.

Batch Uploads – Highlight and upload numerous images from your personal computer. This allows you to share more of your personal, offline image collections with your friends, family and other interested parties.

In case you’re wondering, the Content Importer tool includes an algorithm to automatically credit the original content source as you bring the images into LoveIt. Removing extra clicks improves the overall social discovery experience by taking people directly to the original source of the image and the valuable content the source provides along with the actual image.

We’re also providing code to block the LoveIt button for any content owners who want to prevent our community from adding content from their sites to LoveIt collections. The code can be copied here and pasted on any other website.

Additional new features include offering Twitter as an alternative to Facebook registration, enhanced Facebook functionality with open graph integration, the ability to find Facebook friends who are using LoveIt and invite Facebook friends to join LoveIt.
